The Situation At The Border Is Escalating As Texas National Guard Soldiers Are Fired Upon By Drug Cartel Gunmen From Mexico

One would think that because the United States of America is a sovereign nation, that we would have control at our own borders. Sadly, that is not the case at our southern border, the people that do have control, are the sadistic and evil Mexican drug cartels. They are the ones’ who decide who gets to cross into the United States and who doesn’t and they are making a fortune doing that.

Because the Biden administration has all but abandoned any sense of control at our southern border, the task of securing the border has fallen to people like Texas Governor Greg Abbott. Abbott has sent Texas National Guard troops to help secure the border and reign-in the insanity there.

And the situation there is escalating into a shooting war, as emboldened cartel members can actually be seen taking pot-shots at our troops.

Suspected cartel gunmen from Mexico shot at the Texas National Guard soldiers on the southern border on Thursday. The soldiers were in the Roma, Texas border when two shots were fired from across the border.

They concluded that the incident might have been related to cartel gunmen because heavily armed groups along the Texas-Mexico border are becoming a more common sight. Last week, officials told Fox News that suspected cartel members involved in human smuggling taunted National Guard soldiers across the Rio Grande. They wore tactical gear and were armed with AK-47s.

Fox News said that it is not clear which drug cartel is responsible for the recent incident, but the area is known as a bloody turf war between the Gulf Cartel and the Northeast Cartel. The shooting also occurred in the same area where Fox News saw tracers from a suspected cartel machine gun.

And where is the Biden administration during all of this? They’re MIA (as usual), as ‘border czar’ Kamala Harris is campaigning for Democrat Virginia gubernatorial candidate Terry McAuliffe. Apparently, that’s alot easier than actually doing your ‘real job’ making sure that our border is secure.

This insanity at our southern border cannot continue. It is obvious to the most casual observer, that Joe Biden and his pack of idiots have no desire to make sure that American citizens on our side of the border are safe.

Tens of thousands of illegal aliens are crossing our southern border at an alarming rate and even though we pride ourselves as compassionate and do want to help, we cannot sustain this kind of un-checked migration.

The primary function of government is to make sure that it’s citizens are safe and in this case, the Biden administration has failed miserably.
