Talk Show Host Dan Bongino Warns He’ll Quit Show Over Network’s Vaccine Mandates

Nationally syndicated radio talk show host Dan Bongino is warning his network that if they don’t drop its coronavirus vaccine mandates, he will quit the show.

Bongino only just started his nationally syndicated show after taking the radio time slot of now deceased radio giant Rush Limbaugh. Bongino took Rush’s time slot in about 600 radio stations across the nation (the rest of Rush’s radio stations went with other hosts).

But now, Bongino is threatening to quit if Cumulus Media continues to push its company-wide vaccine mandate, the Washington Post said.

Bongino took to the air on Monday saying that he will “not let this go,” and would prefer to quit the show rather than work for a company that requires vaccines as a condition of employment.

The radio host said that he is not a Cumulus employee and is really only a “partner” with the radio giant, but added, “You can have me, or you can have a vaccine mandate, but you can’t have both. I grew up without a lot of money. … I’m not leaving those guys behind.”

In June, Cumulus ordered all its employees to get the vax or be fired.

“There’s been some reporting about some people who’ve had to separate from their jobs or moved into different positions because of it. And I’m kind of done with that. Yeah, I’m not going to play along with that,” Bongino said.

Then Bongino addressed Cumulus directly saying, “you have a choice. I work with you. I do not work for you; I never will. You may have had other people in a corner, but you don’t have me.”

After saying natural immunity is a real issue, Bongino added, “a bunch of people in the C-suite [who] thought it would be a good idea to play ‘Pretend Dr. Fauci’ for a minute.”
