Grocery Chain Strips Paid Emergency Leave and Hikes Insurance Costs for Unvaxed Employees
Here we go with another example of the left trying to turn unvaxed Americans into second-class citizens, with the Kroger grocery chain forcing unvaxed employees to pay more for their insurance and having their emergency leave cancelled.
It is the height of anti-Americanness to treat Americans who don’t hew to a political idea as second-class citizens. But that is what the left wants. They want to take away the freedom of unvaccinated Americans.
Per The Blaze:
Starting next year, the Cincinnati-based company will no longer provide two weeks of paid emergency leave to unvaccinated employees who become infected with COVID-19, the Wall Street Journal reported on Tuesday after viewing a company memo.
The paper noted that Kroger also plans to add a $50 monthly surcharge to company health plans for salaried nonunion employees who are unvaccinated. Both policies are set to take effect on Jan. 1, the Journal said.
According to the Associated Press, in an email to employees, Kroger leadership said the company would still offer “various leave options for employees who contract the virus, including earned paid time off and the ability to apply for unpaid leave,” but that paid “special” leave would now only be available to fully vaccinated employees.
If companies run by leftists succeed in making policies like this, the left will begin expanding this sort of treatment.
Soon they will say if you own a gun, you don’t deserve insurance, or medical care, or even a job. Or if you oppose abortion. Or if you oppose any manner of leftist policy, they will disenfranchise you from society.
That is what they want to do. That way these fascists can force everyone to toe their anti-American line.
