New York Judge Gives Man Who Raped 4 Girls No Jail Time

Niagara County Court Judge Matthew J. Murphy III announced that he was letting a four-time rapist off the hook and giving him no jail time because he felt jail was “not appropriate” for the violent offender.

Murphy, who was the Democrat Niagara County District Attorney prior to being elected to the bench, claimed he “prayed” about how to sentence convicted rapist Christopher Belter who was found guilty of attacking four teenage girls.

The rapist could have gotten up to eight years in prison, but the leftist judge decided to let the sex criminal off with a slap on the wrist with eight years of probation, instead, according to WKBW Channel 7.

“I agonized — I’m not ashamed to say that I actually prayed over what is the appropriate sentence in this case. because there was great pain. There was great harm — There were multiple crimes committed in the case,” this “judge” piously exclaimed in court. “It seems to me that a sentence that involves incarceration or partial incarceration isn’t appropriate, so I am going to sentence you to probation”

Attorneys for the victims were aghast with the ruling.

“I am deeply, deeply disappointed. I expected a different outcome today,” declared Steve Cohen, an attorney for one of the rapist’s teen victims. “Justice was not done today.”

Cohen added that the sentence is an example of “privilege.”

“He is privileged. He comes from money. He is white. He was sentenced as an adult, appropriately — for an adult to get away with these crimes is unjust,” the lawyer said.

The scumbag who is now a fee man thanks to this bleeding heart, leftist judge, claimed he was “remorseful” over his crimes.

Sure. And daddy’s money will console him.
