Fake Fairy Tale News: CNN Gets Story of ‘Goldilocks and the Three Bears’ Wrong, Issues Correction

CNN has fallen so far into failed reporting and fake news that it even got the fairy tale story of “Goldilocks and the Three Bears” wrong this week and had to issue a correction.

In a pseudo-scientific article about sleep and how to get the best out of it in order to “keep your brain sharp,” CNN added the colorful metaphor to the story by writing about the ages old Fairytale.

Apparently, the metaphor collapsed on them because they got the whole story wrong.

Imagine it. CNN getting a story wrong! Indeed, CNN can’t even get a 184-year-old story right.

Originally, CNN reported that it was one of the bears that had slept in the beds to find out which one was “just right.” But, as every child knows, it was actually Goldilocks who slept in the beds, not one of the bears.

On Monday, CNN added a correction to its story, reading: Correction: We got the story of “Goldilocks and the Three Bears” wrong. It was Goldilocks who found Baby Bear’s bed to be “just right.”

But one Monday evening, it still seemed that CNN had missed a section of the story that had the fairy tale relayed incorrectly.

The CNN story said:

That fable could apply to sleep duration in people as they age as well. Just like Baby Bear, older people who sleep “just right” — getting roughly six to eight hours of quality shut-eye most nights — appear to delay cognitive decline and keep their brains sharp, according to a study published Wednesday in the journal Brain.

Yeah, not Baby Bear.

CNN can’t even get a nearly 200-year-old children’s story right.

CNN, the king of fake news.
